Meet Charlene

Hi, I’m Charlene Goder - Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist and founder of Soul Therapy Services.

I have over 18 years of experience working with children and families and am deeply passionate about supporting neurodivergent children in a way that honours who they are, not who the world expects them to be.

As both an OT and a mum, I understand the real-life challenges families face. My approach is warm, authentic and relationship-focused. I aim to create a safe space where children feel seen, understood and supported to build confidence, regulation and independence.

My Approach

I strongly believe therapy should move beyond “fixing behaviours” and instead focus on understanding the child underneath the behaviour.

I work from a neuroaffirming lens and support families to better understand sensory processing, emotional regulation, nervous system needs and connection-based strategies.

Together, we work toward helping children feel safe, capable and empowered to participate in the things that matter most to them.

My sessions are playful, practical and meaningful - and often look very different to traditional clinic-based therapy.
